How to get there
From Fuerteventura you have several boat companies that can bring you from Corralejo to Lanzarote (Playa Blanca).
For me the best one was Romero Ferry, because I was travelling without a car. I paid 14€ (p.person/one-way) and took me 45 min.
The Hotel
I choose to stay in Playa Blanca, and I didn’t regret. Located in the south is one of the most important tourist resorts of Lanzarote but not overcrowded.
My Hotel was a little far away from the centre (2km) but I rented a car there and it was really easy to find parking in the centre next to the marina.
I stayed in Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort 4* with breakfast and dinner included. The breakfast was nice but the dinner could been better, but the difference in price was around 5€ from APA to HB so I decided to go with dinner as well.
The rooms were great, small bungalows with a beach feeling, and the Hotel pool was huge.
Rent-a-car
One again I rented a car with Cabrera y Medina right next where the ferries stop. Without a car is very difficult to see the island and it’s so cheap, it’s totally worth it.

Combined Tickets
Lanzarote has so many things to see that you really need to plan well your days.
You can find the combined tickets that best adapt to your needs.
You have:
- 6 centres: 33€ ( all the above plus the Castillo de San José)
I choose the 4 centres with the first 4 that I mentioned.
You have 14 days to use the tickets but it’s easy to do it in 3/4 days.
